Septic Tank Inspections

August 31, 2013
No Comments

Septic Tanks and waste water treatment systems need periodic check-ups and proper care to remain healthy and function properly. It is recommended that a wastewater treatment system should be emptied once a year; this period may be extended depending on the system’s size and usage.

A check should be carried out regularly to see whether or not it needs desludging. If your septic tank / waste water treatment plant is cleaned annually, then it provides a better quality effluent discharge to the percolation area, reduction your need to replace pumps, blowers and even your percolation pipes.

We can also set up a maintenance agreement  on an annually bases, and provide both a desludge or dewatering service. Once the tank has been emptied, then our engineer can do an internal inspection and provide a report on the condition of the tank. All our inspection & report are covered by our engineering professional indemnity insurance.

The percolation area should also be checked for sogginess or flooding. Sewage.ie have a wide range of equipment and vehicles to service your treatment systems no matter how big or small. These services are available to household and business customers who own a private septic tank which takes standard waste, such as sewage and waste water.

We offer a 24 hour emergency callout service.
