In today’s environment, sustainable and economical factors
have to be considered as part of any process. Sludge dewatering is a process that is carried out to remove the sludge & solids from septic tanks and waste water treatment plants, only leaving the water in situ. This process is referred to as a recharge and it is the correct way to empty and clean out sewage systems. Sludge dewatering is achieved by injecting polymer into the sludge as it is being pumped through the specialist dewatering unit. Depending on the volumes of sludge / solid content up to 90% reduction applies and a dry solid content of 16% to 20% can be achieved.
This process is carried out on site. This practise reduces
the overall cost to the client, which has additional benefits like a full recharge of the septic tank / WwTP.
